Today’s highlight was easily the Apple and Blueberry Crumble we made. In fact, I’d go on record and say it’s one of the best crumbles I’ve ever had (although it would have been better with some custard!). The pud was made with:
- Organic cooking apples
- Blueberries
- Clear honey – Rowse Blossom Honey
- Crushed flaked almonds
- Organic oats
- Rice flour
- Dairy-free spread – Biona Organic Sunflower Vegetable Margarine

Lunch was noodels – but none wheat noodels. Organic Japanese All Buckwheat Soba with tomato and veg source.
Tea was Mixed Bean Chilli served with brown rice:

Well it’s Friday night – so we’re having a curry! Don’t worry, we’ve not strayed from the detox, it’s organic vegetable and lentil curry of course! Including:
- Organic onion
- Organic tomato
- Organic garlic clove
- Organic portobello mushrooms
- Organic courgette
- Red Lentils (great for protein, fibre and iron)

Mixed with cumin, coriander, turmeric and chilli powder:

Served with brown rice.
No wine or beer to wash it down with – alcohol is a strict no no. So homemade mango, banana and strawberry smoothie instead!

As with the rest of the diet – everything for the main meal is available from Millies. If you have any questions or would like help or advice on dieting please call in and have a chat.

Served with cooked quinoa and cashew nuts:

Breakfast was the same as yesterday – Organic Carrot and Apple smoothie. Lunch was Organic Carrot and Coriander soup with [Biona] organic rye bread.
And here’s some more of the supplements I’m taking:

- Day-vit ACTIVE – combination of vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids, with CoQ10 and Ginseng – great for physical and mental energy.
- Life Plan Milk Thistle – natural detoxification agent.
- Life Stream Ultimate Greens (Spirulina, Chlorella and Barley Grass Powder) – for better nutrition.
Everything from today is available from Millies Fresh & Organic. If you have any questions or would like help or advice on dieting please call in and have a chat.
